1) Save the date!  CAMCD Dispensary Symposium – Toronto May 24 and Vancouver June 20

We are pleased to announce CAMCD’s first Dispensary Symposium series.  The Symposiums are a full day events to take place in Toronto May 24, 2013 and Vancouver on June 20, 2013.

Each CAMCD Dispensary Symposium will include an information session about CAMCD’s recently launched Dispensary Certification Program, the first of its kind in Canada, and a cornerstone of CAMCD’s mandate.  This session will be presented in collaboration with the SEED Project from the University of British Columbia, which has supported the development and evaluation of the Dispensary Certification Program.  For more information about the Certification Program, visit: www.camcd-acdcm.ca/dispensary-certification.  Dispensaries will have the opportunity to register in the Certification Program at the event.

Other event workshops will focus on the integration of dispensaries into the new regulatory framework and the healthcare system in general. Event speakers will include leaders and experts of the medical cannabis industry.  The event agendas will be updated as presenters are confirmed, please follow developments via the CAMCD website, at: www.camcd-acdcm.ca/dispensary-symposium.

The Toronto CAMCD Symposium registration fee is $50.00 per person and includes a networking lunch.  If there are still spaces available on the event day, attendance will be admitted for a fee of $100.00 per person .  To reserve your spot at the Toronto CAMCD Symposium, RSVP by May 10, 2013 with payment by EMT or cheque payable to the Canadian Association of Medical Cannabis Dispensaries.   Priority at the Toronto event will be given to dispensaries and individuals from Eastern Canada.

RSVP Today!

The CAMCD Dispensary Symposium will provide an excellent venue for networking with dispensary operators and other like-minded professionals, and to learn more about CAMCD’s ongoing campaigns.  CAMCD is a vehicle for dispensaries to network with one another, to formalize strategic partnerships, and to work towards common goals. Dispensaries play an invaluable role in the provision of medical cannabis. Now is the time for dispensaries to unite to increase our credibility and integrate medical cannabis into the mainstream.

Don’t hesitate to be in touch with any questions or comments.  We look forward to seeing you there!
