The CAMCD Board of Directors is elected at the Annual General Meeting.
All CAMCD Certified Dispensaries are eligible to have a designate vote at the AGM, and run for election to office.

Jeremy Jacob

Jeremy is a first-generation Canadian, born and raised in Winnipeg. He has a Bachelor of Engineering and experience with both fuel cell research, and hydroelectric consulting. Jeremy has been a Canadian representative at an energy forum in China, speaking in both Beijing and Shanghai, and has served as an elected delegate at federal party Leadership Elections in Montreal and Toronto. In 2015, after raising three beautiful daughters to adulthood, he and his wife Andrea Dobbs founded The Village Dispensary.

Ehren Richardson

(Sunrise Wellness Foundation)

Ehren Richardson is the Vice President of the Sunrise Wellness Foundation, a non-profit dispensary located in Vancouver. Ehren spent several years consulting for an accounting firm in U.S. where he developed the first risk assessment reports for financial institutions servicing licensed Producer, Processor, Retailers in Washington State and Colorado.

Ehren has been a member of the Marijuana Industry Group (MIG) in Colorado, a professional cannabis association founded in 2010 to help create Colorado’s medical and adult use marijuana regulatory framework.

Tina has been working her way up in the cannabis industry for five years. She has a solid customer service background, and speaks three languages. In addition to her Bachelor Degree in International Relations, she is currently working on obtaining her CPA status. Her work on Aura’s licensing application has helped ensure they are in the front-running for receiving a business license from the City of Vancouver.

Jim Leslie

(The Kootenay’s Medicine Tree Inc.)

Jim is Executive Director of the Kootenay’s Medicine Tree Medical Cannabis Dispensary. As the board member representing both the West and East Kootenay regions of BC, Jim is dedicated to advancing the transition of BC’s dispensaries, including the farmers and manufacturers that dispensaries depend on in BC to support access to a range cannabis products.

Jim is a Criminologist by trade, retired Border Service Officer (CBSA), and holds membership in both the Law Enforcement Action Group (formerly Law Enforcement Against Prohibition) and Stop the Violence BC. Jim has been active in the Canadian medical cannabis industry as a patient and activist since 1998.

Graham has been working with medical cannabis since 2009. A member of Eden Medicinal Society, Graham in enjoying his second term as a CAMCD board member. He has a bachelor’s degree in Human Geography from The University of British Columbia.

Kevin Adams is the owner of Okanagan Cannabinoid Therapy. These Medical Cannabis Access Centres service the cities of Penticton, West Kelowna, Kelowna and Kamloops in the Okanagan Valley. He recently opened Mountain Medicine in Vernon. Kevin came out of retirement a couple years ago to enter the Cannabis industry with his sons. Kevin was a teacher for 27 years, for 15 of those years, he was a negotiator and trouble-shooter for his region.

Adolfo has spent over 15 years working in the cannabis industry. Starting off as a grower and supplier, Adolfo worked as a patient advocate and lobbyist to improve regulation. He has worked on a publication for the International Association of Cannabinoid Medicines and helped develop social programs to assist opiate users to decrease their use with the aide of subsidised cannabis capsules. Inspired by the countless experiences watching cannabis change lives, Adolfo set out to initiate the first local budtending program aimed to benefit both patients and dispensaries. The vision is to equip dispensaries with workers who possess a broader basis of knowledge when it comes to safely and effectively dispensing cannabis products – regardless of whether it is in a medical or recreational setting. Adolfo is currently the seminar leader and workshop facilitator for CannaReps.

Zach Walsh, PhD

Zach Walsh, PhD, is a clinical psychologist and an Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of British Columbia, where he directs the Therapeutic Recreational and Problematic Substance Use lab. He has published over 50 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters and has presented widely on topics related to cannabis, mental health, addictions, and public health, including invited presentations to the governments of Canada and Uruguay. He is the lead investigator for several ongoing studies of the therapeutic use of cannabis including an industry -sponsored clinical trial of cannabis for the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Professor Walsh’s research has been supported by grants from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada, Health Canada, the Peter Wall Endowment, and others.

Rielle Capler has been working in the medical cannabis field in Canada for over 15 years as researcher, educator, consultant and policy advisor. After receiving a Masters degree in Health Administration, she worked with the first medical cannabis dispensary in Canada from 1999-2007. Rielle co-founded CAMCD in 2010, and as coordinator of the SEED project at UBC she worked with dispensaries, patients and other stakeholders to develop CAMCD’s nation-wide standards and certification program for dispensaries. She received the Governor General’s Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Award in 2013. Rielle is currently a PhD candidate at the University of British Columbia.

Rosy brings over 16 years of business, entrepreneurial and legal experience specializing in corporate law and regulatory affairs. Rosy has successfully led the development of new companies, team-building, structuring products and guiding operations. She has held executive positions as General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer for companies involved in regulatory undertakings and in the securitization of real estate.

Dr. Page is an internationally-recognized pioneer in cannabis plant biochemistry and genetics with extensive knowledge of cannabinoid biosynthesis. He co-led the team that first sequenced the cannabis genome and has published over 35 relevant papers. He’s a sought after industry speaker and continues to be an Adjunct Professor in the Botany Department at the University of British Columbia (UBC).
